Files you edit

PDF files selected in the editor are processed locally in your browser. EditScanPDF does not store uploaded PDF files, page contents, or exported PDF files on our servers in the normal product flow.

We only retain limited account, billing, and service metadata needed to operate the product, such as your email address, profile identifier, subscription status, and payment records. Your document contents are not retained as part of that data.

Account data and retention

If you sign in with Google, we retain basic account information such as your email address and profile identifier to operate the service. We keep that information while your account remains active or as needed for security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

Sharing and processors

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited information with service providers that support authentication, hosting, analytics, payments, and customer support when needed to run the product.

Cookies

We may use cookies or similar technologies for sign-in sessions, security, performance monitoring, and basic product analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may stop working correctly.
